Hi all zbrushers,

I finally found the courage to post something in the forum after spending 6 months looking and picking up info here and there,
Still a lot of things I don't really understand, I'm not a digital man, I come from clay , foam and silicone...
but here you have it,
only really started seriously having a go at zbrush a couple of month ago.

the triceratops was built from zpheres, I made the skin alphas in photoshop.
will post them if anyone interrested.

the human face was sculpted from an existing wireframe downloaded somewhere around here .

i know I still have a lot to learn , and there is no better place for it than zbrush central.

Blimey !
That triceratops is good going for only 2 months zbrushing !
You'll have to post it in the main forum so more people can see it !!
Really nice stuff.
Is it a zbrush render ?

thanks SS810,

the render is actually 3 different zbrush renders blended in photoshop.
I'm not really at ease yet with materials and rendering so I cheat my way out of it using Photoshop.

I thought I posted it on the main forum, is it not?
where did you find it ?
if not how should I go about posting it on the main forum?
thanks

keep zbrushing

I've just been looking at your website.. . .
Stunning work !
Your one of the finest sculptors I have seen !!
There is so much work there that I recognize and remember admiring.

I can't wait to see what talent like yours can do with Zbrush, and I look forward to more posts from you.

I can honestly say it shows you came from sculpting.

the render is actually 3 different zbrush renders blended in photoshop.
I'm not really at ease yet with materials and rendering so I cheat my way out of it using Photoshop.

i have 2 things to say about that

1) compositing is the heart of CG this days. all the pro CG you see went thru composite. no renderer can create perfect images.

2) IMHO zb render engine and material is not something worth the effort to learn (not so crazy about Zspheres either). you will be much happier with a real renderer.

be happy to help in any other issue regarding ZB and CG in general

good to know I'm not too far off with my cheats..
Modelling and sculpting is my job, but so far it only happens in the real world.
I'm enjoying the flexibility of 3d modelling and would love to make it a day job one day.
I will surely get back to you with question and problems very soon

thanks for looking.
