Well, I think this may just be my first artwork post! and actually I am a little nervous about posting it cause there are so many talented artists here! Hope you like it....Anyway, I have been away from using zbrush for a bit, but have gotten re-inspired by going to siggraph this year...here is an image of a character I am working on...she is still very much a work in progress, so if people are interested I will keep posting images of the progression....let me know!!

Looks great. The pseudohorns might be a bit distracting, as that's where my eye travels on the face, missing the actual features. Other than that I can't offer any critiques.

I am planning on adding horns. That area you are refering to is where the horns will attach to the head but I still have to model them, and wings, legs, hair, garments, and maybe even some jewlery...Hopefully once they are in place it won't be so distracting...

well not a huge update....but an update none the less...just added her horns, and some texturing...on to texturing the wings, creating here clothing, the rest of the talons...so still much to do...hope you all are enjoying seeing the progress! more to come...

Ok well...here is how the final image turned out...whish I had a little more time to finish it..this was for the 2006 Blizzard art contest...this is the image I ended up submitting. I may actually go back and add more details at some point...just to finish it off for myself...I would like to give her some better/more detailed clothing...but I ran short on time...

I know the progression jumped quickly from the prior image to this final image but if someone would like to see something specific...or for me to explain how I did something...feel free to ask away....

Just wanted to say that Zbrush rocks....this is my first attempt at doing character work with Zbrush...and I love it...can't wait till 2.5 is released...I saw the demo at siggraph this year and it looks amazing! I really could have used alot of the new features while working on this piece! well anyway...Cheers

Nice work! I like the pose and the rich colors/materials. That's some cool hair too. Unfortunately, the submission page for the contest has been really borked up (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=29653267&pageNo=1) so I wasn't able to submit my entry. :(

Yeah I saw people where having troubles submitting....I had some troubles too....it took me like 3 hours to finally get it to go through...but I did get a confirmation email...so I guess it went....sorry to hear you weren't able to submit...hopefully they will let people resubmit....goodluck!
