Hi guys, I have Zbrush but other than creating obscure lumps on my imported characters I seem to have very poor ability in creating finer details that I have seen done here. So my question, there are several DVD tutorials available out there, but which one/s do you recommend to a beginner wishing to learn this preferably one that is quite simple to follow, yet goes through how to add details such as veins, scars (general anomoly details) that look as they should.

Typically, for things like scars, I've found that going to Projection Master, turning deformation on, then painting the scars with a small deco brush at low intensity with a fairly high focal shift works fairly well. For tutorials, while they do not cover this, I would say the Digital-Tutors.com Zbrush basics. It really covers all the main features of Zbrush and it's all step-by-step and easy to understand. You could also view the tutorial board here if you want to start with the free stuff.
