Hello Everyone,
I see so far I have seen no replies to my research study on ZBrush, so I am just asking everyone here this very important question: How has ZBrush affected your workflow? and what do you specifically use ZBrush for?
Please reply to these questions guys, I want this project to make a difference in my university's computer graphic department. Thank you All!

Well my workflow is zbrush and photoshop for the most part.
How has it affected me with my work. I originally used poser and a very old program called Simply 3d3. I used both in t-shirts,some animation, webdesign and concept art and did away with with those and replaced them with Zbrush.
People used to think of zbrush as a toy of sorts, but nothing more. I knew better than that when I discovered the program. And during the 5 years or so that I have been using it, the big boys in the cgi world have taken the program to a whole new level. Companies like Weta, ILM and some others (big and small) have definitely changed the views of cgi-ers I believe. I don't think that production companies would have used zbrush in their workflow/pipelines unless it had proven itself to them. Another famous user, Rick Baker aka Monstermaker, has been using this program and has produced some outstanding images while here at ZBC.
I hope this helps in your question a bit. Maybe you will get some more replies hopefully.
I see zbrush gaining more respect in the professional world as it continues to evolve. As I gaze into my crytal ball, I see zbrush probably turning into 2 programs. One as we see it now, 2.5 inclusive and probably one as a seperate, more professional (as in the end user) and technical program. Just speculation on my part. That is one of the main reasons that I try and have tried to learn and stay with this program during the growth process. Zbrush is definitely a worthy time investment for the future of things to come in the cgi world. (lol...now I close the crystal ball and my waffling).
Zee-ing is believing. :tu: :D :tu:
regards,
Ron
