Oh wow!!! I absolutely loved this robot when I saw it on your website, but this.. this is beautiful!!!

I MUST know how you do that splattered, tattered, can't even describe it texture type thing. I have wanted to do that kind of stuff for forever.... I have Photoshop 6, Zbrush, and Poser. If i can do it with these programs, PLEASE tell me how! I'm begging you...

Again, awesome piece of artwork.

On a shelf full of games, all with their respective bits of cover art, this one would stand out from the herd. Well done; I like this one a lot.

Thanx, however I am not quite satisfied with this picture, there is something..., maybe composition?

Buzzwizard : I am new in this layer stuff, I am playing with it only 2 days so probably this isnt the best way how to do this...

there are 3 objects, if you are using photoshop just change "objects" for "layers" :), ok so the background is my old picture, layer between is photo of old rusted plate with some fire I draw on it (in fact it was generated by eye candy but you can draw it easily :D ), top one layers is our mech againg but with OVERLAY set. Now select middle layer with texture and select eraser with opacity about 90-99 and erase slightly so parts of mech show up...

Thats all, you can use any interesting photo as an midle layer fo example some old wall or dirty road, anything with nice texture on it....

Try using other modes for midle and top layer like : hard and soft light, screen, if lighter.... And play with transparency of layers as well...

Hope this will help a little.. :D
