Hello everyone First off I would like to thank everyone for their support I'm glad you like the videos I have been producing and I hope there helping:)
I'ts been awhile since I made the begining intro video but I took the summer off to study digital paining techniques. 2d photoshop oil painting stuff.
In my adventures with 2D lighting techiques I learned alot about topology of the human face. So now I'm back and I have alot of intrestresting things to try out with zbrush. Here is a lesson that will help you understand how topology flow, works in Zbrush. IT makes modeling about 100 easyier after you apply it.
This is comomonly refered to as edge loop modeling.

Camtasia for screen capture set to AVI I have a Neman Microphone hooked though a Mackie Board and then straight into my mic port on a sound blaster.
For output WMV with 800kbs and 32Hhz mono as a preset;) Camtasia is the best I have found so far for tutorials.

oops my bad it was 1025kbs video 22hz mono audio
Excellent stuff. I learned something new from the first video straight away regarding the Ires stuff.
Its a pity that it cant calculate that itself. (Me being lazy I know.)
Cheers

Just wanted to share a little somthing. Call it madness or whatever.
The picture on the left is 250thousand polys (zbrush)
Middle is the 250 poly model in maya lowest level
The right is the model with 2 1024 maps default settings production mental ray. O ya only 16 bits. I'll put some more detail in it see what happens.
and the next video will cover the madness

Wow the 32bit map took 3 hours And thats on a beast of a machine.
I threw a cheezy skin shader on it still same poly count. ears are looken a little funky but other then that 200ish polys.

Hey, I just got done watching your head and hand tutorials, some good stuff you got there :).
At the end of the hand tutorial you were doing the Smart ReSym and talking about the averaging, you said if anyone knew how to do it without averaging to let you know, well if you mask off the part you already did and then Smart ReSym they won't average, it will pretty much just copy it to the other side.
I didn't get a chance to read the replies, so if someone already said something similar to this :o sorry.

little vague but here you might need this page
http://www.techsmith.com/download/codecs.asp
techhsmith if your a windows user
and if your a mac user plug the cord from your computer into a wall on at least a three story building. Get near a window about 12 feet or so. Hold mac in front of you. Run as fast as you can towards the glass;)
just kidding anyway I think the ensrapen will work for macs.
I encode all my videos in WMV. I think the codec is built. to that format. but just incase
