I banged my head against some 3d-tree's to create something photorealistic this afternoon... There is still some stuff to do but I think it looks cool...
Here is the Result:

I think it looks cool too. Great stuff, it's a nice change from aliens and monsters :)

Cool trees - have a very organic ancient feel to them. The bark feels like it want to release itself into the wind
But the base of the trees seem to have gotten stuck in the mud:lol: - no pun intented

Are they Zebra-wood trees?

LOL-- With lemo, they're more likely Zeeble-wood trees.

Nice. Very cool idea and off the beaten path.
