The other thread was getting a pain to load for me on my dialup connection. So, I figured I would start a new thread for us to post drawings..hope that is ok with everyone..

This first one is a fictional drawing landscape..and the second one is of boat launch area here off the Cumberland river..tried to draw it from memory...though I love all the gore, yall are making me rethink landscapes... ;)

I really like the tree in the first one.

The cumberlands have got to be some of the most beautiful scenery. I LOVE driving through them in the early morning hours as the sun is coming up. *sigh* Nice memories of vacations..

I have really been enjoying this thread. Here's a pencil sketch of my mother when she was high school age (~ 1940s). It will be the basis for my first attempt at a full scale pen & ink drawing, so I apologize for the lack of contrast.

2B pencil on Beinfang paper, scanned and cleaned up a little in Photoshop (some contrast and a little smoothing to offset the annoying "scanner-burn").

Hey, jibberish... Your second drawing has a great movement!.. It's really good. It shows that you've a creative mind. I'd like to suggest you a web site on armour & weapons. Don't forget to check their links also. If you study real weapons you can push your already good talent to the top :)
