Any Blend faces Tutorials

Guys

Any one know of any tutorials for creating blending shapes for facial expressions specially for a a face which isnt that human, like dogs, reptiles, and birds with longer faces ?

Its easier to create blend shapes for human like characters but for reptiles and birds it becomes a prob.

NB Here I mean not only regarding zbrush tutorials but any basic animation and blend tutorials

I have seen some before for maya, for reptiles birds i don't know... but for birds maybe you could make a facial rig..

I am creating all the blend faces in zbrush so cnat rig.

I mean is there any book , tuorials online offline which have all the different facial expressions catalouged , so that the animators do not have to sit with a mirrior in thier hands everytime. ;)

I know I have one somewhere. Ya might wanna check in the meantime...I think BazMazur posted up some pics of different expressions and there might have been a link to an artsight that showed the basics there. I'll have a look tomorrow to try to find a good one I found a million years ago.

That is if Mr. Pilou doesn't come along to save the day sooner. :D

haven't found the site I have a link for yet.....I have a gazillion links so it might take some time to sort thru, however to let you know....the link I have in mind is for human expressions.....not a "general" any creature kinda thing.......

to be honest i find it kinda funny you would be looking for one for non-humans.

however.....unless ya know the specific creatures real life anatomy so as to do them justice then i would assume you plan humaness for them, and therefore assume you could apply that to your target goal.

still looking so ya know

Regarding humaness expressions, I am looking for these because I ahve never tried creating expressions before.

Point is humans have cheek muscles which can depict many kind of expressions but what about a dragon or a lizard they have this long Jaw extruding out, how to create human like expressions on them, specially when they are toon shaded ( meaning less creases).

i belive many toon movies have used the expressions properly so there should be a book or catalogue on it and if it isnt, then I will be coming out soon specially with non human ones. :D
