Good picture---one thing I really like is the small teeth--It gives it a real "young" effect --that's really a good Idea to make everything normal then make one area kind of different in scale --it brings good and surprising results--good stuff :D :tu:

Thanks everyone for liking him, he is really a fun chap to make and hopefully will look even better when finished.

and about winning a copy of Zbrush 1.23b, its true, I entered the competition at www.3dlinks.com, (http://www.3dlinks.com,) along with the copy of Z, I also got a texture cd of my choice from the Dosch texture cd range to the value of $65.00

Hmmm, I'm suprised no one else entered!

The teeth are way too flat though, looks like paper cutouts or something. the eyes are nice though. this one image took you 2 days? dont mean to be rude, but that just seems like way too long for something like this.

Thanks for the comment spiral, I will work on those issues, about the two day thing, I never meant two days straight, I mean on and off, like for an hour or two each day!

Excellent skin texture!. As far as the teeth go, try shading them a bit, to give a sense of more shape. A handy reference would be, well, your smiling face in front of a mirror. Note how the light/shadows interact with each tooth... Silly, yeah I know. But one thing I recall from years ago, is someone saying when shading, don't fake it. Good advice - which I go back to everytime I faked it! ;)

i like it. I agree with making the teeth have more depth. The look almost painted on right now.Great skin texturing! Did you paint that!?!?!?! Or did you get some a picture of something and use it as the texture?? Either way, great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very good job Mr Z. I like it very much. I am a newbie, and I still cannot sculpt a head, and I have been working on that for 4 days straight LOL, and I do mean straight!
I love the teeth because of the gums that you put around them. But from a "drawing" point of view, I think the eyes need to look more rounded, following the path of the head. Other then that, the eyes are great. Do you think if I call my heads monster heads, maybe people will believe I am trying to make monsters instead of photo-realistic faces :) Well, it is a thought.
