The inspiration for this comes from two sources. One is a favorite poem of mine by Robert Frost. The other is our very own DeeVee. I have been experimenting really hard in ZB 1.5 beta and I have to say overall the new features really make it even more fun to create scenery. This image is all 2d and 2.5d brushes etc except for the floweres which were created from spheres. I hope you like it.

"TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference."

-Robert Frost

For you Joe

Thank you so much my friend I hope I am the Joe you are speaking of. It is greatly appreciated, as some one said, the people at pixologic picked the beta testers well, in your capable hands I really should have waited before my anxiety rubbed members the wrong way. I should have expected the modeling to come first and then the paintings. I have been humbled by the effort put in by all those who did paintings so that all of us who paint could get a glimpse of what to expect with 1.5. What you folks have really been doing is inspireing me to try and duplicate what you have done, in 1.23b, which in turn has had me producing more images than I have done in a long time. For that I thank you most sincerely.
Fantastic image my friend.
A very grateful Deevee, you have me grining like the proverbial Cheshire cat.From ear to ear!
Joe. :D :D :D :D :D :D :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu:

Beautiful image Mentat!
There is so much to like about this that it is hard to pick out just one or two things to compliment. :tu:

Very nice joyful image. Everything is so crisp and finely detailed. Apart from the more conspicuous elements, I also enjoy the way the stony ground has been drawn. :tu: :tu: :tu:
