This is an image called SpellDancer, which I created for Imagine FX magazine, issue 06.
It is entirely created using Zbrush, and in the magazine I show you the step by step process in the form of a tutorial, including a few Zscripts and 3D tools which have been installed in this issues attached DVD. Check it out:cool:

Sorry - not another magazine. However nice work as usual. I have yet to mention your wonderful skill with colour, a lacking quality around here. Keep it up. ;)

Mytholon, You ROCK, Bro! Your colors are great in this piece. You'r work is getting better and better every time...:D

There is a fine sense of motion in this too. You captured a moment in time beautifully.

5 Stars

Has this issue been out to newsstands in the US yet? It seems we get the UK mags a couple of months late. :)

Mythlolon has been inspiring me to develop my Painter<-->Zbrush workflow. Two programs in which I'm not yet well practiced, I'm ashamed to admit. I've had Painter ever since version 1, back when it was barely usable.

Many thanks Mytholon :D

What? No one gets this magazine?

update;

I checked my local Borders Books and Micro Center. Micro Center does not carry it. Borders has the June, #5, issue on the shelves. :(

I'll check back near the end of the month to see if they have put out the next issue.

Ive got the nr. 6 and the nr. 5...great stuff, ....but Mytholon has posted so many tuts. and Zscripts on this forum that you don't learn much new tricks in that issue !...but the magazine is great, i think, and the information in this sort of magazine does not age as fast as 3D -magazines.
The new number should be great too...a Linda Bergkvist tutorial...in number 5 was a great Daryl Mandrake tute..

I must comment on this piece! It's unlike anything I've seen done in ZB so far!
The more I look at it, the more I see.... I love that.

Great Work. I would love to see what your layer structure looks like.

Since Mytholon is drawing attention to this thread from his fantastic "creative Ergonomics Lab" tutorial thread; http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?p=331841#post331841

I thought I should update my comment about ImaginFX availability in the 'States.

The best deal is to subscribe. It's well worth the cost. All the tutorials are at full size, some with layers, on the DVD.

Hopefully, back-issues are still available. :tu:
