Okay, Ive used zbrush in the past, but the latest version is giving me a few problems. Probably nothing I couldnt figure out by watching the demo on it, but Ive got a model in the works, and since I cant save it, Id rather just ask about this here.

How do I make a mouth, eyes or, an indentation when using zspheres?

How do I manipulate the zpheres for detail without losing total control over the model?

How do I turn this blobby model into a smooth poly model?

Sorry for my major noobieness but you guys seem very helpfull and so I thought I could turn to you guys.

Thanks

I suggest clicking on quick links at the top of the page. Tons of great info there.

Included with the demo there is a ZScript on ZSpheres. It's in the top row of tutorial thumbnails, when you first launch ZBrush. That will explain how to skin your model, and will also show you an example of facial details being put in.

Once again, since this is the demo, I can not save my model. Therefore I can not watch the demo without losing it.

Okay, Im just having a no brainer, overly stressed day. Skinning was RIGHT under my ignorant nose. But I found it. Now, to learn how to indent polys.

To indent, push one zsphere into another (you will see that the indented sphere looks slightly different).

This works only for adaptive skinning.

Good luck.

use the divide and smooth buttons in the deformation menu.

to find out things in zbrush, hoover the cursor over a button which interests you hold the ctrl key and read the explaining text.
