Some time ago, I was trying to make a demon-angel. Turned it into something for the trash, after running out of direction. dr. jjwow suggested keeping the model, which I did do (thanks Doc - I would have tossed it!)
Well, it's been ressurected, with more success this time around. Head modeled from a sphere; as was the torso/wings. Arms, legs from Poser. Clothing made from a seriously mangled Plane tool.
Still to do :b1: fix the shoulder seams.
:b2: A background, and perhaps the addition of another figure. http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1014372365lyv.jpg
cool pic the belt buckel cool all so..
to fix the shoulder seams try the Smudge Brush :tu:

well im glad that you didnt throw it away .. this turn out awesome.. however it looks like the left arm was painted with a different material to it.. ez suggested one thing but this is what i do .. i make several copy's of one material and change as needed.. or you could import this into photohop and touch it up.. great job my friend...the texturing and coloring and modeling are awesome.. eye candy to me..
love the work, the textures, esp the leg are oozing realism, nice work with the cloth aswell, I'd like to see this as a finished piece. :tu: :tu: ::

wow! great work! incredible detail there, fil. the textures are very realistic. i thought those arms might have been Poser, but i couldn't really tell. terrific job of blending them into this picture.

P.S. my only suggestion would be that you might want to turn the axe to face more foreward insterad of from teh side. you might not be able to see the axe so good then, but it would look more natural.

Thanks for the comments everyone.
Those are, indeed, Poser arms, as are the legs. The arms I "beefed" up in ZBrush.
Jibberish, you are right about the axe: I'll give it a turn, and a different blade as well. Also, it will be attached to the shaft in a more secure way - I can't imagine a bit of rope doing the the trick. ;)

Started putting together a buddy today... A sword and a shield for this guy I think. Now where's that background??? http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1014764427you.jpg
Edit: That left arm, on the gray fella is really bugging me!
interesting that u should call the second figure a 'buddy' and 'friend' , he doesn't look too friendly to me ::
very cool! I love the clothes and the texture.
