OK all you z-script programers, I have a big idea. I got the idea from the texture master.

What if there was a script that would automate the process of markering togather a complex model. What if you started with a cube or something and hit a "drop" button on a z-script just like the with the Texture Master. Your cube would drop to the canvas and automatically marker itself. Then you could add more 3D objects to it, and they would all auto-marker themselves too. Then you could hit a "pick" button and turn the whole markered model around for a different view, hit drop again and keep working on it.

Any takers? This could be as big as the texture master. Right now I keep a copy of Amorphium around since mechanical modeling with markers is a pain. This would be a big step toward making Z-brsh a truely all-in-one illustration solution.

i think cameyos zplace (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=011372) is doing what you want. at least, i do use it to build more compex models.

I took a look. Nice script but not exactly what I was thinking. From the examples shown it looks like you can only use one object at a time.

I want to be able to switch to any 3d object while building with the script. I am not so much interested in mathamatical, precise arrays. I want to be able to constantly DROP, add to (with any shape) ,PICK-UP and rotate, re-arrange then DROP again a multimarked model. I want to be able to do this over and over again until I am fully done building what ever I want. And I dont want to have to mark of re-draw anything untill I'm done.

Demanding arn't I? I don't know how some one could make this script but it would be really cool.

Thanks,

Shaun

you can change your object as often as you like. no problem. only the mathematical objects you haave seen are so much fun to produce, thats why there are so many.

but wha are you not doing it just with the mm tool it self ? it is a little tricky to get the hang on it, but does exactely what you are demanding..

"it is a little tricky to get the hang on it"

That's why I want a faster way. When you do freelance illustration, things that are tricky cost money and time.

"what you are demanding.."

I'm not demanding anything. I was just picking on myself for writing such a specific post.

I will download Zplace this weekend and give it a go.

Thanks,

Shaun
