Hi ZBrusher's,
This is my new character : Fat and Anger.
I attack with a character of strong stoutness.
I have used maya for base modeling (pic01) and i've add details on ZBrush (pic2).
For this character i've decided to used an different approach like asymmetry for more realism on head.
Actually, i have unfinished the texture but you'll see my first attempt on (pic3).
Hope you like it.

Emmanuel

Very nice indeed. I wish my low poly heads looked as good - they seem to look more like that guy in Red Dwarf (Kryton I think) then real heads:confused:

Nice work, the assymetry make it a lot better/realistic ,
Cant wait to see this finished. :)

and a littlle bald hairless :D :D :D As i said it's an unfinished texture (and modeling too).;)

jit_gohil : thank you and well, I did not know "Red Dwarf" ....and, because i'm curious  i have research on the net what it is. Indeed!! the resemblance is striking.

Thanks for comments guys.

WOW. That looks bloody realistic. Waiting for the final.

It looks very impressive. the assymmetry is giving the final touch. The only thing, I don't like is the hair texture on the back-head. the hair on the top looks strong an young and on the sides it looks older an more thin. Both hair types in my opinion don't fit together. Btw where did you get the textures from ?

Very Good Job Modeling and texturing.
Can you Explain how did you do the Texture. is it from a real picture or did you painted? I'm triying to paint beard eyebrows and eyelashes for a caracter that I'm working on, But I'm still trying to figureout the best way to do it.Thanks And
Nice Job Again.:tu:

He scares me.

Fantastic details etc and great to see something closer to how most of us actually look. Personally I'm a little heavier on the rouge - what's he going to be used for my good fellow - smash and grab or GBH?

Good work, Maya4fun! I'd have to agree with Frenzied regarding the hair, tho.
It's a little distracting compared to the rest of the nice texturing you've already
done.

FLACO and avatarsw, if you follow the following:
http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=33715
you'll be amazed at what you can accomplish (and hopefully you've got a nice
base mesh, a high-res texture set from www.3d.sk (http://www.3d.sk/), and well layed-out UVs). ;)

cheers.

Thanks for all constructive reply.

Frenzied[Ni] >>> Thanks for complements. The base texture i'll use : http://www.3d.sk/ the best photo have ever seen for human ref. I agree with you for the hairs i'm working on in. Thanks for this constructive reply.

FLACO and avatarsw >>>
Well, thanks and here is my workflow :
1/ the "base" meshes are construct on Maya, same for uvSet (i use a pelting tools incredibly efficient for deploying uv's).
2/ Import my mesh on ZBrush and sculpt low and high details on meshes.
3/ For the texture i'll use same technics like "Chris Costa" and "RyanKingSlien" (this is "Pixologic Release: ZBrush Learning Series - Texturing with Photoreference")
4/ After that, i add some details on photoshop.
5/ with my finished texture apply in the meshe i add more details on it.
6/ I drink a beer or cafe when i'm happy with it !!!! That's it!! :D
7/ thank you Rookie-z to put the links ;)

vlad74 >>> Thank you !
wenna >>> Thank you !
VVDFX >>> Thank you !
Boozy floozie >>> Thank you appreciate reply !

All right i have adjust a little bit the light settings add black-fog and materials too. (for the base mat i use KiKiSkin).

Finally, the big and anger guy are coming up !!! :D
I've sculpt a little bit more details on skin (yea yea i know....;) ).
After that, i have painting new eyes, lips and finally hairs too. More old now with the new hairs-top no?
And to finished with the head i've playing with a specular level and specular mat.
After the head, i'll work on hat or helmet (the choice is not final) and body part.

Hope you like it ZBrusher's.

Any replys????
Ok, i'll post anyway.:p
Here is my work in progress with helmet. For helmet i've used a 3Dsphere and GUV for uv's. Some people mail me for the "strange" cigarette. The response are>>> it's a war, then one roll them.:D

Hope you like this image...

nice job, Maya4fun. For some reason, the helmet seems a little tiny to me, but that's prolly because this guy is so big, he dwarfs the largest helmet the army provides. ;)

now when will we see "Private Seething" ?

cheers.

Thank you for replys.

50's : No pb man, the general are on the side of all ZBrusher's. :D

rookie-z : hehe, i've called the army for a moooore largest helmet and as you see, the army offer a nice T_shirt and 4 stars for a general Anger this is why he's in anger. huhuhu:D

I'll show you a finished bust of this character and some "macro" details.

I hope you like this last version.

It's looking superb but you'd emphasise the form with the shadows and shading being not quite so flat.

Thank you for all this nice comments.
As some corrections took a lead in my character I decided to export it on Maya in order to test returned the SSS (SubSurfaceScattering) Well, I know the name is barbarian but what you want it is like that.:D Thus in therme concrete that be used to me most accurately to return the skin by helping me of a well positioned lighting you can note the effect in question on the ears (slightly reddened by the light which comes from behind. I show you two examples with a skin with the reflections chechmate and brilliant reflections, which will you like ?

Specifical map for maya : 1 color map, 1 colorSpec map, 1 Dirtmap (for ambient diffuse level), 1 bump map and finally 1 displacement map 32 bit

Emmanuel

Not so happy with bump map.

Yes, the hair is cool. I like the moustache, in particular. Take ten years off him, and you've got your very own 'Tom of Finland' character happening. Not that I'm familiar with his work, you understand. Ahem.
