Hi there fellow ZBrushers!
This is my first time posting. I've been using ZBrush for a little over a month, and I have to say that this is the most incredible piece of software I've ever seen. I gave up on 3d a few years ago (last program I used was Lightwave 7!), but once I discovered ZBrush, I could no longer stay away ;)

About this piece: this is a WIP of a mage-type character that I had originally modeled in lightwave way back, and resurrected it in ZBrush. It's a full character model, but I'm still tweaking the anatomy on the body, so expect to see the whole model pretty soon.

I haven't applied any Projection Master or Bump mapping yet (going to start that over the weekend), but I am pretty happy with the level of detail I've gotten so far with just the basic sculpting tools.

I would appreciate any comments and critiques, but please be gentle, this is my first zbrush work and my first post
PS: If there are any 3DS Max users reading this: if anyone can refer me to some good sites for learning game modeling, especially next-gen, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks and keep an eye on this thread. I plan on posting as frequently as possible.

Hey man
I think your problem here is that your head is not wide enough

I remember when i startde modeling, i took referneces from real heads .. so you can't be wrong ;)

I 've made a little paint over on your picture to show some stuff i've notived

Hope it helps , keep going
