This is a project im working on. Im trying to create a model of Homer Simpson from the TV Show "The Smpsons"

I worked for about 20 minutes to model part of the head. Its no finished yet but i slapped a default material and some colour onto it. Heres what i have so far.
I still need to smooth out some wrinkles around his nose and neck.

(no eyes yet)

Thanks for all the replies.
Im testing out some material on him. Im not sure if I want him to be cartoony or 3D.

Heres a test with some material and i added some eyes. I need to get the eyes positioned better.

I also slightly widened his head. It look better now?
I think that once i get his head just right, the rest of his body will fall into ZPlace
(by the way: anyone have any tips for making a collar on a shirt? his folds over kind like this |_/\/\_| and im not sure how to do that.)

When I needed to do a collar for my Tail 'Gator image, I used a cube which I had flattened in the ZAxis in the deform pallette. I then tapered it and then did a smooth bend on it. I then did a little more editing using transform mode. Voila! A pointed collar.

I hope this description of my process for that was clear.

Your Homer is great. :tu: I personally like it with the cartoon edges like you have here.

Very nice LBTW. If there's anything that I would work on, it would be the nose
