naked chic.. wip.. a little help please?

I"m kind of new to 3d... this is only my second real attempt at a model, and i'm in need of some advice. i'd like to put a dress on her - like in the thumbnail drawing, but i'm not sure of the best way to go about it. if anyone knows of a good tutorial of how to tackle this in zbrush, i'd be really gratefull if someone could point me in the right direction. I'll also be using maya to render - would it maybe be a better idea to try and apply clothes in that?

Are you making her a still or posable working model?

I'm just going to do a still of her - but i was going to take her into maya and get her in a nice pose before i rendered her... it would be nice if she was a riggable model - but i can live without it

Then i would make the skirt in z i recommend starting with a cone primitive to start the skirt.
