Is there a way to get rid of vicki 3.0 eyebrows and her eye lashes so that I can texture her in zbrush. If so please help thanks all

Yes the eye lashes are easy....when you load a poser object, click edit then go to tools and poly groups and auto poly group....the eyelashes will be four separate groups but you can click each one, mask it til all are done, inverse, hide, go to geometry and delete hidden.....its also useful to get rid of all the teeth and stuff if they are not going to be needed in the same manner as it will greatly decrease the polys!
I get rid of the eye brows in poser by changing the materials....get rid of the plugin pics(forget what they call em) and use default color diffuse etc...that way no alphas are created for them that are used to displace or whatever it is they do.
make sure you export in groups so that the auto groups in zbrush work.

another thing to know is poser is huge on overlapping in their mapping. if you plan to use it again in poser don't change it but if its for zbrushing.....only
then once you get rid of all the extra parts you don't want export as obj and use uvmapper or similar program and select in groups and rearrange the mapping to your desired work flow....I think Ken Brilliant has a tutorial on here to explain how to use uvmapper that will help explain what I am talking about.
You will want to separate the groups on your map and regroup and remap parts like the eyes cuz they come in five zillion pieces from poser. and its more practical to group them together and map them spherical while other parts may need to be mapped planar etc.
Edit: You will probably still have to edit even more if you want a perfect map because they get kinda tight in places like the area around the eyes, ears and mouth....you'll have to experiment for your desired work flow. end edit:
best results save new map at 4096x4096. my dinosaur computer can't handle that well so I use 2048x2048 with decent results even when texturing to displace.
I have been experimenting and still am actually and have been meaning to do a pdf on all this but have been working too damn much lately.....sigh hopefully soon.

If you can wait until tomorrow afternoon sometime...maybe later :D as I have been working 12 hours or more and about 0 sleep last two days, it will give me a chance to get into poser and get the correct terminology and screen shots etc to show ya what I mean.
hehehe I know you probably want to know yesterday but I am not thinking too clearly at the moment and we are having some wicked lightning storms at the moment and I should not be online hehe let alone on my computer.
I will do my best to get it up as soon as possible.

ok this isn't exactly the way I planned it and not even all that good but should give you some ideas. in order to get everything together and up here I had to do it in 4 zipped files. The text is in the last file if you just want that...there is one pic that shows altered texture for eyebrow.
Anyway here they are...not great but shows a few interesting things.....
poser2Z1.zip (http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/uploaded_from_zbc/200407/user_file-1085246950obz.zip)
poser2Z2.zip (http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/uploaded_from_zbc/200407/user_file-1085247052yjv.zip)
poser2Z3.zip (http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/uploaded_from_zbc/200407/user_file-1085247152mht.zip)
poser2Z4.zip (http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/uploaded_from_zbc/200407/user_file-1085247203stq.zip)
Sorry it's not better. Soon I hope a .pdf for all this.
aminuts, have been working with Poser lately also.
Downloaded the files and will try them.
Thank you for the trouble, didn't want to take, grab, and run without expressing my gratitude.

Well after a long day of playing with zbrush and poser, I've solved the mystery using your pictures to guide me. However for some reason I could not make the brows vanish,.. but I did manage to select then in zbrush and fix my issues with brows. the image below show you what I'm talking about.
NOTE>>> for some reason, all I have to do is select vicki's Eye brow mask it then return to the full figure, then Id select the other brow and bam, the eyes, mouth, teeth, eyelids, and eyebrows vanished, leaving me a very happy camper. hope this helps anybody out there with the same issue. I'll post step by step images of my process later on tomorrow. http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/uploaded_from_zbc/200405/user_image-1085375849vmn.jpg

cool.
hahaha its kinda funny to see the elf head. cuz while I was using poser to do the pics....i of course got side tracked playing around and did something kinda similar...i think the mouth is different tho....I'll have to post it up a bit later as I am in the middle of remapping it at the moment.
glad my sorry little pics were able to help ya figure things out and its even cooler you managed to do it in two steps there.
have fun....its lots of fun playing with poser heads and the new zbrushes and pm.

Very funny and magical transformation :)
It's amazing to see that the 2 models have the same topology but not the same sex appeal :D
