Well I have finaly been able to make something worth showing with 1.5. This started with ZSpheres and then skined with the adaptive skin. Then I turned the smoothness up and reworked it with the normal ZBrush tools.

Question I could use some help on the best way to texture this model, (texturing is my week point) not sure if I should use Texture master or texture maps or a combo MAT and texture? Any help would be great.

Second question, When I use the optimize button to try and reduce the mesh for export the mash gets kinda messy looking I think this might have to do with the ZSpheres cause it use to work with just the normal Sphere.

That's excellent! :) I wonder does the "blockiness" in the skin disappear when it's rendered? You don't want to have those in the final image.

yeah that goes away with textures and rendered. Trying to keep it low poly

Real nice model! I just completed something very similar in this post:

I talk about the texturing there. In general, I use a combo of all the techiniques--materials, textures, images maps. Whatever works. Just experiment.

The messy optimized geometry happens with Zsphere skins and imported models. the naitive Zbrush objects optimize cleaner. Incindentally, this is what usually happens when you optimize meshes in all programs.

I think I'm getting the way texturing goes, still not sure on the exporting.

So far, Great!
Texturing is like Ken B says: Just experiment!
I'm betting you'll get the hang of it.

Great model, Dfaris, and yes, I agree, you're definitely getting the hang of texturing. :tu: :tu:
