View Full Version : Wonder what will be next?
ZSquares perhaps?
Animation capabilities?
Time will tell.

Hey Rage...If you combine ZSpheres, posed, rendered, then saved, I think you can see that in an admittedly basic way animation is possible now, with the aid of some video editing software. (Which I happen to have...I'll be keeping you posted when I have something to show... ;) )
(And I'm a just bit curious as to what Digits may come up with in terms of a ZSphere Animation ZScript... ;))
Definitely animation capabilities....probably and add on to the base software...ZMotion or something lol I can see the Pix staff count exploding! ;)

I thought I did :) hehe
Actually, I do have some plans cooking. The ability to output variables to a file with 1.5 is going to allow for alot of cool stuff. A Zsphere figure would be just perfect to Rotoscope frames or manipulate freeze frame. And being able to mrzrgb grab and skin can be used as well for some cool stuff.
for those who haven't seen what zbrush can do all ready check out my test page
Digit's Widgets Animation Master Test Page (http://www.cyber-webs.com/zbrush/Digits/Anitest.htm)
and

Digits:
Perhaps you have been contemplating a new implimentation of your "Bones" widget? Would a 16 frame flip book of a posed ZSphere character be in order? Does your understanding of adaptive skins lead you to believe that a sequentially posed ZSphere character could use the same texture with each pose, and could this be previewed with any success and then exported frame by frame? Just curious.

Oh you did, Floyd, but we expect Oscar-winning innovation any time now! ;) :D
And put those ears out before your brain catches on fire! :D :D :D
Hi Bruce
It will take me awhile to grok the new tools and new zscript additions, but that is what I have in mind. My animation script can already keep track of 10 objects for 50 frames. The addition of Zsphere tools will make it much simplier to stop animate a figure. Then you save it and assign it to a particular frame.
when it is all done it will run through the sequence and render/export each frame. You can also render each frame into a separate layer, even expanding into other Document files. then you can go back and do pre processing etc.. on each frame in its own layer. Render each layer, hiding the others. That way you can keep animating over the animation and you are not limited to 10 objects.
anyhoo, that is the plan
