Umm... I know I said I was going to put Z away and do housework... but with my morning coffee today I went browzing for 17th century artwork, and enjoyed looking at some wonderful pieces by different artists... they inspired I didn't come close, but I lost a whole day playing with it. I hope 1.5 comes with a lock. One that only opens once a week or something. I should run and add that to the wish list.

Holy Crap, that's a good painting! You know, it never ceases to amaze me the amount of talent on this forum. When I see work by all of the "Poser Snobs" who act like they've created some masterpiece with someone else's model, someone else's textures, and someone else's clothing, I have to really tip my hat when I see something like this.

No offense to the Poser users on the forum...I know that you all have your very own talents. I'm talking about the one's whos entire galleries are filled with nothing but one lifeless poser character after another, with no real content.

Sorry for the soapbox, I just was very touched by DLee's work.

Thanks everyone. The encouragment here means a lot.

Slosh ~G~ Well I'm one of those poser people. I love poser, but I'm not great with it. There are some who produce stunning work. But poser isn't relaxing like Z. I get so frustrated with poser when I can't get the dumb blonde to sit on her butt ~L~ I need it for covers though. I'm hoping that someday I'll get good enough with Z that I'll be able to use a pure Z pic for a cover. Someday...

ah Deb, this is fantastic! You really do inspire me to try harder.. :) This is so soft and the details are soo real! Looks like an oil painting that I wish I had hanging in my house.. LOL

Very lovely and graceful painting! Well worth putting the housework off! ;)
I do the same thing myself.. but I don't get results nearly this good!

I agree with Slosh. I am an immigrant from the Poser community but I always feel better when a project is "all mine".
This is great work because it shows your talent and creativety starting from nothing and not your technical ability to modify someone else's object.
Your cover is coming ! Keep it up. :D :D

Well, it may not have precisely captured the C17th look you were after, in fact it seems almost impressionist to me, but whatever style you want to call it, it's one helluva good painting. :tu: :tu: :tu:

And personally I'd rather it was the housework that came with the time-lock. :D

I hope I didn't offend anyone with the "poser snob" comment. I can think of a few people right here on ZBC that use Poser IN THEIR WORK, but still put quite a bit of their own talents in it. Southen's "Ascension" come readily to mind, as does Aurick's "Cascading Hair". And my favorites, Kathy's pictures (can't remember the titles) of the reclining redheaded nude woman in the tiled temple-like building, and her Serengeti with the very beautiful ethnic woman and giraffe.

Beautiful painting :tu:
Rather than putting a lock on 1.5 maybe we can can ask the script makers to come up with a clean house button :D
