View Full Version : Morning at Crane Lake - 2.5d ZBrush Premiere
This is for Joe (DeeVee). I am not, by any means, a painter, but I thought that you deserved to see some more work in the genre that you prefer, as your pictures have inspired so many.
No modeling whatsoever in this image (unless you count snake-hook). I used a combination of all of the 2 - 2.5d tools available, and many different stroke types, including spray stroke.

Now that is a painting, it looks like oils.Thank you so very much, it is greatly appreciated, more than you all will ever know. It was very nice of you to take some of your valuable time to let us see the results of your painting efforts. I personally like it a lot and will print it , frame it, and hang it in my computer room.
Once again thanks a lot.
BTW what is the original size of this image?A grateful DeeVee.
The original is only 1280 X 960. I have it in .pdf (adobe acrobat) format, if you like, full size, full detail.
I love the colors in there. Very nice Slosh.
Brian my friend I would appreciate that file if you would be so kind.
Thanks again.
DeeVee,
Joe.

Very nice painting - the textural detail in the the water and especially the water is exceptional. I am now drooling for 1.5.
