Hey guys,
Just playing around to understand the new cavity feature and the Projection master and thought I'd post my results.

I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience using Projection master with imported textures....I'm refering to a method witch Marcel presented to us some time back....where by ones fill the canvas with the texture for the model details. I have not recieved any satisfactory results..the mesh is always jumbled and unrecognisable.

Your model is awesome, I can't figure out the settings for the cavity feature, do you have a step by step setting tut to get the results you have in your model?

Looking great Kircho, the model has really great character - All zbrush?

Render at best, and the model needs to be pretty high res aswell.

Troymcoy - All is Zbrush work , you can see the ealier versions in my last posting , where you can download the base mesh for this model.

hi kircho, nice to see u posting again. excellent model as always. i really enjoy all of your stuff! and i really like your style. just wondering, how many polys there are in the final model? or how many times u divided it? thanks!

As I've mentioned the head was both an experiment in Cavity shading and the Projection master. For this reason I divided the head to 2 million Polies ...with local subdivison so that I could not reverse the effect when I found out Projection master was not working for me with Imported textures..I will examplify my problem shortly. The head could have been achieved with 1 quarter of that however.Thats about 3-4 subdivs (global) from the base mesh which you can download.

That's awesome Kircho. The cavity shader works very well.

kircho.....changing the brush in pm will allow you to use textures. I was having a bit of trouble myself til i realized the default brush that comes up wouldn't allow what I wanted.
