View Full Version : An Abstract : Protected ? .
Many months ago I found out how to create frosted glass in ZBrush and was asked to write a script(QuickLinks 'The Frosted look').
I have not used the technique very much since, so in reviewing my techniques I decided to try an image using that method. this is it.
There are quite a few persons in this image I hope you can see them!

edited ....to give the others a chance...muahhahahaha :D :D good job Joe :tu:
I guess this one is too difficult for you folks or you just cannot be bothered to test your powers of observation.
If I squint my eyes, I can see several characters. I see a clown crawling out from under the bed (largest character I see, it takes up the whole frame). Then I see a red haired ballet dancer standing on her head. Then I see Venus DeMilo (sp?) and also Jesus at the time of the Last Supper. I also see a mother carrying her sleeping child and/or ironing.
I know you must be curious to see where I see these things, so give me a few minutes and I will post something clear, with your permission to copy your picture and draw outlines on it.

Only see a blonde lady in the middle... maybe a Buxom mermaid ~LOL~ I'm not good at this. Those puzzle pictures that have images hidden in them? I have yet to see anything guess my eyes don't work right.
Here are the images I see. I doubt I even came close to what you had in mind, though Joe.

Well Slosh and Ron you are both to be complimented. You have done remarkably well. Ron's list was close to mine. Slosh your selections opened my eyes. I am constantly reminded of the power of the human brain.
Thanks a lot for opening my eyes. Slost your dance I saw the same place, also with long flowing hair, but upright. I did not ssee the woman ironing at all, or the mother with child. I do see them now. I think everyone saw the blond in the middle of the image. I had fun, I hope you did also.
DeeVee,
Joe.

Exercises like this are always fascinating to me. It is indeed amazing how the human perceptual apparatus can "see" recognizable
shapes even in random or semi- random patterns. And it's even more interesting how different people sometimes see different things, and how we can often see something we didn't see before, when it's pointed out to us. Very interesting thread! :tu: :)
These are the images I found, as you can see they are very close to those Ron found. http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1027834092mqr.jpg
