Really nice Evoken! I like the way it looks as if some of the bark is gone. Very nice texturing and all.

Excellent materials, texture, composition and mood. I am getting to be a BIG fan of your work, Bro... :)
It's a nice change from character work...

I love the overall feel of this. But there are a few things that I think could really help this. Not that this isn't great, so don't change any of it. I would just add some fallen leaves, mushrooms, small brush, etc... Just to liven up the scene a bit. As it is now, it looks a bit flat.

I'm not knocking your work, so I hope you don't take it that way. I think it is a great piece, and you definitely have a style all your own.

Fantastic detail and color!

It just desires a touch of shadow and depth to sweeten it!

thank you for inspiring work!

Zbrush is definitely a wonder tool!

nice one! :)

I agree with wchamlet and Continuumx; it could have a bit more depht. Maybe a slightly blur for the reddish part of the image could improve it further...
but thats just a minor issue.

I like all your stuff. I'm curious to know if you are after a realistic or semi abstract effect. Or is it just as the mood and the work takes you?

Alan.

alfaeus, aztec..solja, jotajota, wenna : thanx all

dickie: i cant model worth beans so i kind of like to stay away from character work

w.c.hamlet : I hear ya bud, loud and clear, truth is i was too lazy to continue any further, but your inspiration got me over that hurdle. I cant seem to work on something more than 3 hours or i get bored. Plus i like starting fresh and new so i can learn more things faster. My original had mushrooms but i took thm out, they didnt seem right.

continuumx, marc: shadow and depth, ya i know, but the material i used doesnt like shadows and its hard to get a good clean shadow, how i want. zbrush is slowly becomeing an extension of my brain.

frenchy: the best organic modeler on the planet. Hands down.

abyssis: ah, welcome to the darkside young jedi

angstrom: id say im not really after any sort of look, i just go with the flow, constantly trying new things, like in the pic below, i like the frazetta look.

Learned alot about the deco brush in the process. fast becomeing my favorite 2d tool
