I know there were some concerns about whether ZSpheres could model proportional hands and feet.

This is the beginning stages of a figure I'm working on for my "CyberElf" image.

I know the thumbs are a little thin, but I'm tired right now.

Great job WO, we know that you will fix the thumbs in the updates and also the fat insteps. However, the potential can be readily seen, which in the right hands should produce some outstanding images.
Thanks for sharing.

I know how you got to this stage, W/O, and it's working fine so far! I'm working on the same project myself! :D ;)

Really cool ZShpere modeling!

Thanks WingedOne for this demonstration, it’s coming along well and I shall look forward to the progress. Because I have spent so much time with Z, I have been overlooking other program’s I have. I bought Amorphium Pro to make up for the fact that Z doesn’t have a Boolean feature which I required, so felt for approx £87 it was worth the money. Because of all the Zsphere examples being shown over the last couple of weeks, I have become disenchanted with the normal Meccano like assembly of figures. Consequently conventional Z work has gone on hold till I can use the new features, so a voyage of discovery into other program’s started. What I found in Amorphium has Biospheres which I had never even looked at, so I set about building a whole figure in one piece. The problem I find with it is its a bit like having built a complete figure in Z out of one normal sphere. When you try to sculpt fine detail on the face or hands it is extremely difficult, anybody that has imported a Poser figure complete into Z and tried to carry out fine changes will know what I mean. If you are allowed to give any details WO, how will Zspheres differ regarding fine detail?

Thanks

I haven't gotten to that point yet with this model, so maybe someone else who has done fine detail work with a ZSphere model after blocking it out can help with this question?

I remember Pixolator said in his post about the new modelling tool that after blocking out the model you can then proceed to use conventional modelling techniques to refine and add details your model if you want to.

Even though the proportions on the hands and feet are a bit off, it looks like a good start; the proportions of the torso, arms, legs, and head look pretty good.

I'm looking forward to seeing your progress :)
