Done with masking and deformation and lots of materials experimentation.

I dont think theres one that you've done that I don't like. Some superbe effects you've done there! I honestly can't pick a favorite.
Wayne...

Thank you! I'm mostly humbled when I look at some of the talent on this board.

First off - Dickie, sorry about missing the materials request. To be honest I'm terrible about saving these things. I'll have to start posting with the work while I can still remember where they are :o Dementia is a terrible thing until it gets bad enough you cant remember you have it.:D
I'd forgot about this thread and this new one seems to belong here.

I had a hard time reducing this one to a file size that works. Lots of detail was lost. I'm working on a web site. Having never created one I'm having a hard time absorbing how to use the ftp and setting it up properly.

I especially like the second image: almost looks like storm clouds coming. If there were a way of controling the shapes (?), I think you'd have an impressive approximation. But all the images are great!

Fordston -
Jantims mats are great. I learned to make mat's by reverse engineering his stuff.
I really like the POV of the head :tu: Anyones posts are always welcome on my threads.
Kephil -
That one is as much due to lighting as the material. I think it would work on any shape that is soft and rounded. I'll have to go back through my files and find this stuff and see if I can reproduce the effect.
