If I place an object in ZB (as I understand the vernacular, placing a "tool") how can I move the object in X,Y,Z relative to the screen plane, rather than the XYZ coordinate space defined by the "gyro"
For example:
I place a sphere3d, edit it via various "T/W" movements, rotate it via the Transform / R (which makes the gyro on a funky axis vs. the screen plane)
Now I want to move the object around in screen-related XYz space, but it seems I can only use the gyro, which because of the previous rotation is now at a weird skewed angle, thus making all motions have an element of "Z" to them.
I simply want to move the object to the right in screen space.
Does that make sense?
I realize that once I snapshot an object or change tool, I can move the layer via the ~ key. I essentially want that capability while the object is still in it's 3D form.
How?
