I thought of this as just another fun little practice piece, but it was recieved well by others so I thought I'd try it here. I started working on this in the wee hours of the AM. I was originally just trying to work out the look for a character that I mean to use in my maya class, though I'll need to simplify it back for that. But I added the Sokar/Antropus skin material and started painting a skin texture after Antropus' Picasso tutorial. (I was looking at Maya scripts, got distracted by the gallery at Highend 3D and wound up back here.)
And I thought you'd like it, because the board seems to appreciate textures and finished works, (or works that are more steps along the way to being finished,) than they do models without textures.
