Getting A Vertice Count

How do I get a vertice count in Z2? I am not talking about polygon count and facet count, I need a vertice count, thanks in advance.

Let the cursor hover over the your objects icon in the Tool palette. An info window will pop up telling you the polygon and point count(vertices).

There is nothing when you pass the mouse and stop it over a tool in the tool palett?
