Could someone share some light on what exactly this next so called "mini" update is about? What is included/fixed in it?

The bonus upgrade will include new features that were unable to be included in the release of version 1.51. It will also include corrections for known issues with 1.51 such as the difficulties that many users have encountered with the MaterialPack.

More details will be given at the time that it's released.

I second that, Cameyo; high on my wish list too. I don't mind whether it can export in that format, but it would be great to be able to keep textures and alphas as JPG files, not least because, like most people I suspect, I have mountains of them in JPG format that I use in most other graphics apps, but have to convert to more disk-gobbling formats for ZBrush.

I Think that Zbrush don't Use JPG Format because that is not a Free Format !
It's a "Trade Mark" Copyrighted !

i think jpeg is freely usuable, unlike Gif which uses a compression owned by Unisys i beleive.
