In the tradition of our previous interviews with industry leaders Weta Digital, Zack Petroc, Timur "Taron" Baysal, Kris Costa, Francois Rimasson, Hiroshi Yoshii, Ralf Stumpf, Aaron Sims, Ethan Summers, Matt Cioffi, Jeff McAteer, Doom 3's Kenneth Scott, and 6 time Academy Award Winner Rick Baker, we have now posted an interview at ZBrush.com with Gabor Marinov (Producer) and Tamas Varga (Lead Modeling Artist) at the Hungarian studio, Digic Pictures.
We'd like to invite everyone to take a few minutes to read about this exciting company, which has done work for the movie, "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" and the PC game, "Armies of Exigo". Currently they are using ZBrush extensively for the upcoming game, "Warhammer: Mark of Chaos".
The company is known for phenomenal levels of detail (one model used in the Warhammer game came to over 30 million polygons), and ZBrush has helped them maintain that standard without sacrificing huge amounts of time. Be sure to catch the part about how one head became dozens for a single shot!
