This is my first woman head study.
Jonas' Head study inspired me to model a woman head and i've started this piece.
It's modelled in only zbrush.
The pores and details aren't final. As i want it to be a finished piece, i think i'll work on the details from the start.

Nice!

Nice, but... Grab a girl who's passing by, check her pores... you'll see that pores aren't that regular, plus some areas on a girl's faįe do not even have pores ( forehead, for instance )...
Keep up with the good job. ;)
Bye !
The lower lip is too sharp. It's usually smoother than the upper lip. Anyway, looks good. One more thing, it looks like that the skins pores doesn't fit to the wrinkes around the eye. I would expect for a similar skinsurface a little more accented wrinkles.

is this the nathalie portman year or something ?
Bernard Caumes: She is not natalie portman or anybody else. I'm only inspired by Jonas' attention to the details and making a nice looking lady.
Davlin & Jester: Thanks for suggestions. I'll redo the details and take consider your suggestions.
Here is the turnaround views of her.
does she look like natalie portman!?

natalie portman? i donīt think so, and i like her more than N. P. Eyes should be more separated. keep it up :tu:
of course she is not n.p. :)
abraXas, thanks , I take note about eyes. It may look better on other 3d programs because of better camera options.
Here is my first color and shader test

Really good. I think she could even get away as a 'pretty' looking man, if you know what I mean, or even androgenous. I'd add pupils though. j.k. :tu:

I think you could improve a bit the woman looking, actually, I think he looks a bit like a tenenager guy : almost on 3/4 side, the forehead is rather strong, maybe you should make is less advanced, and about the chin, you should also make it less davanced, less large, and maybe smaller too?
nice details for the other parts!

Turx
Really excellent ears, I'd love to see some lower poly wires of them. I feel that the bit where they attatch at the top of the skull is a bit too rounded.
Thanks so much for your comments.
Craig: i got it! Thanks for your additive comment. I hope you like the new face shape.
Sebastien: i'm very glad that you show me the problems with that image. It gives me lots of tips about female face. I hope you like the new one. And please give more tips if you see something wrong.
Here is the new shape of the face:

Really cool!
Shes looks more feminin! Nice work!
Maybe something (but its not important), from 3/4 side, the cheeks looks curve from the inside, often girls have rather bigger cheeks than men (but its not always, they can be slimmer....). Maybe make a test just for you if it wouldnt look cool...
Regardring the color, you have a very good base. Reduce just a bit the amount of red on the skin, and make it a bit less saturated and a bit more yelow.
You have a very nice model... It's going great man... Keep it up!

Great job! How did you get her eyes to fit in so perfectly?
Awesome work turx. I like her a lot!
Sebcesoir: Great work :)
hi again!
argonaut: Eyes are not seperated. I've used masking to model the eyes.
dogbone: below there is an image of ear wire. It's not that special.
Sebastien: thanks for the last comment. I've changed the shader and texture color to reduce its redness. Also changed the shape.
As i changed my mind to give her face a pose, i've remodelled her in Cinema4D by drawing new topology.
Next step is to uvwrap the head and model some clothes and hair for her. Now i need to do some research.
Here is latest render of zbrush model:
WomanFace_colorWIP04b.jpg
before and after topology of the model:
WomanFace_new_wire.jpg
i've painted eyes and brows to test her looking on previous render.

abraXas

and i`m not saying this is a portrait of her, i only see a líīl look aliking
abraXas, Artmarqy thanks.
no i didn't use robin tunney or any other famous as reference.
I used a lot of close-up eye, nose, mouth and ear photos of unfamous peoples to start with. Then i get Sebcesoir's criticisms and give her that look.
But when i look at robin tunney now, hey i can make a robin tunney with a few modifications :)
