View Full Version : ZB cartoons
Hi
I'm trying to make some poses in the zbrush. Then link the pictures to form a simple cartoon.Since I'm not very experienced in this area, the cartoons are somewhat ugly.

I am wondering how you get the details while remain in Zsphere mode to do post and I don't remember a complete tutorial on this, is there ?
There is no tutorial. I use Zshpere to make a standered pose. After I preview it, I add some details .When I make many poses with Zsphere, the mode is chaning.(Be careful not to change the quantity of Zsphere)
I know it after I saw one made a hand with Zsphere. I should thank him. :)
Are there enough polygon to such level of detail while in Zsphere mode? can you post a wire preview please.
I did something like this before but very low res.
it's not's hard to annimate ?

You didn't tell us you were comedian as well as a modeler, and animator. I like you already. :)
Good work, and welcome to pixolator's zbrush forums.

that is incredible.
however, on your walk cycle. i think you may want to consider trying to look like there is more weight from his waist up. it kinda looks like he is "hump-walking" at the moment (imho).
but the modelling is super.

Looking pretty cool. Fun model.
How are you posing your Zspheres with such clean results on your mesh? I'm trying to do the same thing, but my mesh buckles and bends in ugly ways requiring heavy resculpts. Any tips would be apreciated.
The model has been done long time ago.But because I met some problems about materials and lights, I still havn't finished it.
To Curious: Please forgive me for not answer your questions in time. The method I use is adjusting the poses of the joints. When the numer of the Lower Res is 2, smooth it and then modify it.

that model is so awesome. I don't think I've ever seen a posable zsphere model that looks so great, and has been the ability to move to such vastly different poses with no problems...
HUUUUUGE thumbs up!

filip,
You can increase the number of polygons in a zsphere model but raising the the Tools>Adaptive Skin>Density setting.
