Gnomon has LOTS of technical stuff in it. explain the software in detail
KURV go over it very fast but he also make a project from start to finish, so its nice to see the process

I have Meats' Intro to ZB but I haven't seen the Kurv one so I can't comment on it. Meats really goes into detail explaining what ZB is all about. He goes over almost every important aspect of ZB and you get a really good understanding of the canvas, pixels, pixols and the edit mode, which in my opinion makes ZB quite different from other 3D modeling programs. And a lot of that terminology was something that was really confusing me about ZB.

With that said, you can learn a lot from the practical guide and running through the ZB Scripts in the help menu but it is pretty nice to have someone hold your hand. :D

Good luck!

I have both & learnt a lot from both, but I think Kurv's would benefit a complete noob in the way it's structured...

Don't forget Digital Tutors have one too...:D
