It was a quick study i've done a few months ago.
I took it and started to detail yesterday.
It is 368,640 polygons yet.

The original design is a Jordu Schell sculpture named Meat 'n' Potatoes Monster. Here is the link to the schell's sculpture.

i'll do some teeth as in the original design. so until i do the teeth let's shut his mouth. :)

amazing peice man, are you going to just simulate the sculpture or are you going to try and animate it?

Rock on,

I really get the sense of the muscles pulling the skin into position. Maybe it is just me but I would like to see some more form to the chin. Great start though.

Excellent modelling, and very faithful to the original sculpture. Looking forward to your updates.

hi all
thanks so much for your nice comments.

i did the topology from the start and changed the design a bit.
now it's not potatoes monster anymore. But who knows i may turn back to the original design :)

I'm still working on textures and details.

here is the latest test render.

thanks so much for your nice replies friends.

i'm still detailing and making corrections.
Here is where i came at detailing. I'll use skin pores as bump, but before putting it into the photoshop i'm making them in zbrush to be reference while i'm making bump map. I need your suggestions about skin pores and other details.

And here is a zbrush render which i do the eyes in photoshop. Of course this is not the way it will look at last. Especially color map is very early wip. But i need some fun while i continue to this model.

That is looking really frickin' hot man. How much time have you put into in terms of hours so far? Just curious.

Looking good so far. it reminds me of some of the baddies in 'buffy the vampire slayer TV series' (which isn't a bad thing). Are you going to do your final render within Zbrush or in another app? For some reason I prefer zbrush for the intersting variations you can get for a skin texture shader. Besides its a whole lot less painful than tuning SSS (at least on my machine).
