Hello and happy holidays to everyone!

I was wondering if there is a press release somewhere or if it's mentioned if Z-Brush is going to be ported to Linux? The reason why I'm asking is that we (at my company) are soon going to make a transition from Windows to Linux.

Currently we are debating this since there are so many pro's and con's over this. It would make our sysadmin a happy man since the hole pipeline now would be Unix based (a mix with Linux/Irix/macos X). But many of the artists feel that we also loose a lot of freedom when it comes to applications. But... it would also make existing applications a lot more stable (especially when it comes to rendering).

Anyhow. If anyone else has been through this process I would be more than happy to hear about it and what you experienced.

best regards

There are no announcements regarding ZBrush for Linux, I believe the subtext is that Pixologic keep their options open and are not discounting or promising anything. Very wise if you ask me.
