Yeti? looks like my boss. but shes 70

love it so far, great look, not too menacing, more like how a real yeti would look. are you gonna do the hair in zbrush too?

one thing, yetis are in the cold constantly, they wouldhave indications of constant frost bite, especially around the lips where there would be ice forming all the time, and areas where theres no fur. maybe add alot of those little detaisl with a bump map

Hi!

I want to do the hair with Shave and haircut. But I haven't decided if I will use Maya or max 8. Thanks for the idea about frost bite. I will think about that while doing the micro-details. For this screenshot I just put some bump in the material but I really want to add pores and micro-wrinkle in the next step.

Greetings, Strob, Interesting face you have going there. I heard one of those scream in the Ozarks in the mid 70's and saw the tracks,...I'm glad I didn't see it face to face. :D I hope to see your progress. 50.

Hi!

I did a lot of work and research since my last post and I upgraded my computer too!!! My old one was so slow to work in Zbrush (I had only 1GB of RAM now I have 4).

Thanks to my friend JR, I learned how to do some bump map using the bump map viewer. How come this feature is not blinking on the top page of the Zbrush website??? I mean it was not obvious that it was there...

Also looked back at my fisrt concept drawings I did for this creature and decided to go for a more exagerated look. I think everyone will stop saying it looks like their grandparents! LOL!
