View Full Version : Z eyelashes and hair
Here's a finished piece using my Alpha skinning method to make the hair and Ron M's HairStrand method to make the eyelashes.
To see how these processes are done, here's a link to the recent thread.

Rendered in Zbrush 1.55b with touch-ups in Pshop.
Let me know what you think.

Yes master give up that eye technique. Is that a technique of your own, or did you use a known tut we are aware of, or did you modify a tutorial we know of to your personal liking. They look amazing.

Those eyes are yummy, and I mean the modeling of the eyelids, the eye lashes, eye brows, irises, and everything.
The eye looks like it is done with a very well-painted 2D texture applied to a sphere. I would really like to see you apply that texture to a two-part eye, such as I did in this thread (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=015608&p=2).
Thanks everyone.
Frenchy- Sorry, there's no zoom out. :)
I guess the second eye's pink reflection is more prominent because it's picking up more of the light source. Is that what you meant?
Ron- Bring it ON!! I'd love to see more of your experiments with hair.
The eyebrows are postwork in Pshop.
Massivo/Weird Pal- The eyes use photo textures. The veins were all painted in Pshop. The material used was the Toy Plastic Material with settings Ambience 0 and Diffusion 100. The specular curve was also adjusted to produce a larger highlight. For an even glassier look you can play with the Reflection setting, but none was used for this pic. The eyeball is just the Sphere primitive, used as is.
Egomaxim- I haven't got the hang of Zscripting yet, but I'll try producing something as soon as I work it out.
Jaycephus- I'll try having a go with your technique. Thanks.

No mysteryˇ you just press End Record in the zscript panel and save with the appropiate nameˇ
