Last night I was paying around with 1.5 (it is so much fun :D). I was practicing a technique to enhance shading while working with the flat color mode. More on that later... Well, anyway, I started having fun with the highlighter brush and such. I realized the image looked better with flat color. So, here it is :)

Any 121 would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hey that's real neat! I like how the luminostity doesn't permeate the whole "object", but fades away farther from the stars. Am I making any sense? Light fall-off is what I'm trying to say, you did a wonderful job with that. 121 is hard with abstract art but maby the stars are too bright, tone them down and make them look like objects with dimension, but keep the lighting as is 'cause that is just a beutiful effect you've got going. Post a Z script next time you do that, I would love to see how you did it.
Cheers & thanks for sharing
Interesting image :ex: Is this for a special project or just an exercise? :tu: :tu: :tu:

these are pretty cool effects! i really like that kind of backlighting here and there. somehow i think the stars dont really work in here, as they are too precise for my gusto... did you save any version without them? i would love to have a look :)

Thanks for your comments. :) I personally like the boldness of the stars. Too bad I didn’t save it without them to do a few tests. Oh well. I was just playing around with it. This image isn’t for anything special. I’ll try and make a zscript (I’m not that good at it :p) and post it. I am not promising one though, because I have to remember what I did first. :D Currently, I am working on a Hip Hop version of Elmer Fud just for fun and practice. :)

Oh well, as usual by the time I see things, my comments been said already. Still at the risk of repeating...
I really like the luminosity of this image - very attractive. But I agree with Juandel about the stars. I think something should be there at the foci, but a more amorphous shape rather than starkly angular regular stars would work better in my opinion. But a beautiful picture nonetheless.

Very pretty image. I like the sense of depth and the lighting. I would have never guessed it was all flat color, very nice :tu:

I use Flat Color all the time, since I generally paint my backgrounds using it...
If you are doing a sky, you can whip a gradient in, and then use the Highlighter brushes, and the Shading Enhancer with and without the ALT key pressed to add instant clouds with total control over the intensities...
10 minute skies!
