I have been experimenting with new terrain generation techniques. This is a test performed with this technique. When I have more info compiled I will post the process.

Very nice! I cant wait to learn this.
I just end up taking a screenshot of the graayscale image bryce generates in its terrain editor. To learn how to do the same in Z would be awesome.

The subtle silvery quality is very effective and atmospheric. Love that tasty cloud over the mountain too. :tu:

very nice work lonnie, I like the grain and grit in this work, renders i see with programs like bryce always seem too clean and end up looking like, well, just bad. This is just great. One question are the clouds zpaint :qu:

Thanks everyone. I am progressing and learning a few more tricks for the technique. The clouds are actually Texture 04 used as a background. No painting there.......yet. :)
