I was messing around with some deformations on a cone and came out with what looked like a tornado, so i just built off of that. Comments welcome. I was thinking of putting someone on the mountain, like they were controlling the storm. Lemmy know what u think.

Hi Stolen
For your tornado you can use the Spiral3D with an appropriate texture :)
(Enable Texture/Transparance will be useful)

Thanks for the comments guys. yeah, messing around with things with no exact purpose is fun sometimes. i see soooo many little nic nacs in pictures that are made with lots and lots of simple deformations so i just played a bit and got the funnel cloud. the forest was actually suposed to be kind of a field. i've never done the alpha centuri tutorials so it may be the same technique, but i actually got the idea from one of the challenges where someone made the sea bed pebbles with a texture, alpha, and some inflates. i just used a cool picture of grass and played with it a bit on a plane. hopefully tomorrow i'll have some more time for post work in ZB and we'll see what i have then. thanks again.
