None of you probably knows that I have been learning to write software and have a couple things almost finished.

Well, just today the ability to skin my program windows became available and of course where would I turn for that kind of graphics? Z of course. At any rate, I have some childrens programs in my *to do* list and they would have been seriously boring if not for this new capability. So, here's one WIP interface. I've got some tweaking to do as far as the masking around the edges to get rid of the aliasing and some other changes but I thought I'd share. The blue you see for the background is actually my desktop because I screen shotted it with the program running so, it's actually a screenshot of my program. :D

Anywho...there will also be a calculator and a word processor in the program. :D

Very interesting Vikki. I wish you all the good fortune that comes your way when your works are a great success.
Well done :ex: :tu: :tu: :tu:

Looks really cool so far, Vikki! Better make that "GO" sign green, though... :)

Thanks for the comments. :D

No big plans for it. It'll probably be freeware.

The red GO sign will actually be a different shape and color. Still working on the design.

Hey! more hidden talents eh? Hmmm, this is so cute, it would make a great desktop for a kid's computer. Maybe freeware for a little while, but you don't want to sell yourself short! People would pay for stuff like this!

Nice work Vikki - and good to hear yo're branching out in new directions too. One word of warning though from someone who has been involved in software develoment professionally and as a hobby for 40 years - it can be even more addictive than ZBrush... and harder to switch off when you decide it's time for bed! :tu: :D :tu:

now if you can come up like an idea like Barney or Teletubbies to incorporate into your stuff, you can get rich and remember the old fatman when you are looking for a houseboy :) very nice use of the Z Vikki.....

Thanks again for the comments! :D

Flycatcher, yup, I'm having a Jekyl/Hyde mentality going on here between Z and programming. I love them both so I just have to give each equal time. :D

Ron, that would certainly be cool but I'm just at the beginning and have much to learn. By the time I know enough to do something serious I'll be on my death bed. I'll have to hire you to finish the code for me. :D Although, I might just perk up at the idea of having a houseboy. :D

Northstarr, maybe after I get it all done, perhaps dollarware or something like that. Initially though, freeware for sure. Then we'll see how well it goes. :D

It definitely is a kick to be able to use both my loves for the same end.
