Non-organic objects

Is Z-Brush any good at making those? I'm thinking of creating a futuristic discplayer but I don't want to spend a lot of time making it only to run into some unknown limitation.

Zbrush is not AutoCad butthere are many primitives 3D easy to transform and adding !
