Thumbnailed...
2.one before bed....might submit this one to my friends web project for a contest for the band Disturbed.....will all depend on him....going to scar this doodle up a bit more....

thnx Note...
with your comments in mind I started modeling some new teeth (uppers) earlier tonight and played around a little more and then used Jason Belecs lighting and went from there and well this started happening ...may give this one to my friend to use also in his contest piece....if he finds it acceptable...

Thumbnailed.....
Edit...
putting a new image along the lines as you guys mentioned with the C and C....lol I need to practice severely on my B movie looking machinery..didnt add the fog yet...but what I did differently this time was put the glass opening on its on 3d plane after building the face and hands again ..grabbed it and slapped it on the plane and applied the plane....put some rivots and bolts on...will still do another one, just because....but probably not till tomorrow or Saturday....thnx greatly for the input....helps big time....
love the miniature models ...very kewl....my carpal tunnel would keep me from doign that more than likely...grrrrr...middle age sux at the genetic level...

Nice, I like it. Maybe a tad fog around/behind the head could make it creepier. But that might ruin the clean look.

Hey Ron, nice thread, seems you're pushing it more, really enjoying the last one.
Seems like all your experience is really coming together. Good luck with the contest!
Rock on Ron!!!

thnx Lemo...might take the same idea and do a completely different render while doodling...thnx
Joe...ma' man...thnx for the compliment....the little contest is more for my friends benefit...he needs the web design experience...but I was happy to let him have my images for that....he just has an art gallery link for submitted art and I was happy to oblige him with entries for the link on the site...the thing that kills me is that I have done literally thousands of zbrush images since 2001 and he likes my Noob works from back then as opposed to what I do these days I believe.....go figure the desires of what other people want as opposed to what the artist wants...lol...just boggles me though....the first prize for him I believe is an autographed guitar from the band Disturbed....I am only familiar with the "Down with the sickness" song...was on the remake of Dawn of the Dead...
but still with all my practice I have yet to find a single $ for my art...lol....sux
anyhoo....hope you have a coat handy....I think its going to turn cold tomorrow....stay warm stay healthy and by all means stay creative.
thnx guys,
Ron

Hey Ron, that looks really great! Sort of a late-night moon face.
The cheeks seem a little sunken to be obese (?), but it still works from where I'm sitting.
Hey I hope you win that guitar, Disturbed is from Chicago btw...
Do you play? Most Nashville (and vicinity) locals do ya know, or play some sort of noise-maker.
So your new render there, seems alot more subtle, teeth are smaller too, seem to fit the head nicely.
The darkness of the eyes work well too... just a cool color balance that pulls it all together.
Hey will we ever get a three-quarter view of this guy?, (or is that out of the question).:D
Yes it's getting cold up here in the Windy City, but don't you worry now, we've got our longjohns!
Ughh... money - art... art - money... that's an age old conundrum bro...
Looking forward to more of these characters you're developing, and I'll buy that guitar off ya, if you don't need it!
*edit*
Hey great, with the 3/4 view, we see the relationship of the upper and lower teeth, nice overbite.
Like the way you've played with the lighting too.
So the moon idea wasn't tooo far off after all. :)

Hi Ron,
I like the hazard chamber concept. It sort of has a return of the living dead (ROTLD) feel to it. In ROTLD the zombies pretty much couldn't be killed no matter what, so after an outbreak, pretty much the only thing they could do was seal them up so they couldn't do any harm.
I like the fog concept, but only in the chamber. I'm sure you could swing that with some post zbrush compositing.
Also, if I may make a suggestion, I think you could really make it slicker by adding collets or rings where the conduit meets the box and likewise around the lights. Some plates on the door and rivets or some such might make look cool too.

Ron,
Seeing those three pipes sticking out the side give me an idea. It would be kind of cool if the same three were sticking out the other side, then you could have entires series of chambers. Now imagine those rows stacked several hundred high.
All with a nice big biozard sign on the front...

Amazing the things you can think of when you have somebody else in mind to do the hard work. ;)

LOL seems there was a 6000-post-party in your honor last night, but you weren't home.
Tried to mop up... (think aminuts is still scrubbing).
Must say that new one above sure is looking strong, the 3/4 views really gives it depth and dimension.
Do you find the 3/4 view helpful while you're modeling?
Convincing sculpt going on with the facial features, especially around the mouth and eyes, love the teeth too.
and Yow, those brains, think you got some on me here. Intense. Great shapes!
Definitely a favorite. :tu:

And I am very furious because it's with a simple prog of the Nasa (World Wind (http://worldwind.arc.nasa.gov/)
