... somehow there might be not enuff 2D-stuff in here?

Ok, Iknow everything gets 2D as it goes in here, but working with ZBrush like you would in Painter/PS brings some nice side-effects (just think about lightning - better: you can forget it, ZBrush takes care of it :D !).

Nice one! Just leave the eye and stich the eyesocket together ;). Gruesome.

... just noticed: my setup (moneytor&applications) is slightly darker, or the pic became brighter just by sending it in. What I mean: just turn down the brightness a bit, and then the indendet "mood" is there (you will see just a bit of the eye-lids and the eye itself). The left side of the face is much darker in the original!!

Nice moody picture, is it all Flat Color material? I would like to see what I could do with just 2D painting in ZBrush, but there are so many shiny gadgets that distract me :D

yep, all simple brush (besides the eye). Should be some kind of a relief, wish there was a way to verify that (looking at it from one side).
And, I am sure that the 2D/2,5D-modes are some of them "shiny gadgets" you've mentioned.
I think it is real nice how ZBrush takes care of the shadows and let the painter do the rest - spares a lot of time and thinking!!

The mood is what sets this image up so well. Good use of 2D and color :tu: :tu: :tu:
