View Full Version : Infoplasmeron
In the middle of a watercolor experiment, I started to play with the material's noise curve [this was based on Basic material] -- the colorize diffuse is not necessary, but it added something nice in this case -- note: the colors come from the canvas, not the noise function

neat material. Is the material shown in your screenshot a new one you created or did you get that material "Watercolor_paper2" from the web somewhere? Just curious as I like it and wouldn't mind having it in my materials collection. I can think of a few good uses for it. :)
thanks Northstarr, glad you like it :) -- 'twas I made it, starting from Basic Material and changing the numbers and Noise Curve as shown -- should have saved it with a different name before I did the screen shot  -- anyway, here is the [renamed] material:
infoplasmeron.zip (http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/uploaded_from_zbc/200305/user_file-1052697773clk.zip)
just fill a layer or object with it, then paint some colors with M and Z off
also try playing with the Noise, Noise Radius and Noise Curve -- the yellow square is the color that Colorize Diffuse uses to tint the material -- you could change this color or load an image instead
