Hello,

Here is a look at some of the things I've been working on. These great new software abilities make it much easier to develop a model. I'm liking the ZappLink plugin a lot! I can't wait to be able to work with the next releases for ZBrush.

This model is far from finished, but if I waited until finished, I would never get to post anything. Being just a test model, it will probably have to sit on the shelf again for awhile until some real work is taken care of. There are obvious things wrong with the model -shiney skin, bad hair, unfinished texture, no bod- that aside, feel free to comment on it.

These images make use of a Lightwave modeled base mesh, heavily sculpted, UV'd, and painted in ZBrush, rendered in Lightwave8.5 with the ogo_hikari plugin for some SSS skin, and Shave and a Haircut plugin for hair.

Best regards,
Bill C.

Love the character, got that classic movie feel to her. Love the hair schemes too. Great stuff. :D

The fourth image is a dead ringer for Audrey Hepburn - excellent modelling!

Yep, I put my money on Phil's bet also. :D

Thanks for looking. Yep, you guessed right. Catching the nuances of familiar faces in 3D form is tough. Thought I would give it a go modeling Audrey Hepburn while learning some of the techniques I've seen put to excellent use here. I may play around with it some more. I would like to work more on hair techniques in Zbrush, both painted in image, and something that can be exported to animate and render in Lightwave.

Thanks,
Bill C.
